Who Are You??
- Hoista said... at 2:35 on 19/06/2008
Hi I'm Hoista... i used to have 2 hats, now i have 1 hat and adding other hats as I go along.
Used to produce DJ under the name Hoista (people still call me it so It's sort of stuck). I also work for Nokia on all the new mobile phone and web services (currently in Japan). But I'm quitting in a weeks time because I'm off to Hong Kong to do an MBA. One of the focuses is entrepreneurship where I intend to investigate seed-capital opportunites for early stage companies, as I have a few web & mobile based ideas in my head. In a nutshell :- 1) Location based web2.0 media service for mobiles
2) MMORPG based enterprise solution backend, with a web2.0 frontend for regular users enabling a link between enterprise and regular people. Hopefully the business school can help me to sturcture these ideas properly, and help me to build a management team if the plans are workable. - Tom_Critchlow said... at 21:52 on 24/06/2008
HI,
I'm Tom Critchlow. I also have two hats like a lot of people here seem to :-)
1 - I work in online marketing doing SEO (search engine optimisation), PPC advertising (pay per click) and social media marketing. Our company offers a range of tailored services from online reputation management to 'traditional' SEO. Read more here: http://www.distilled.co.uk
Without wanting to brag we're pretty well known in the industry - a lot of people will claim to know about SEO but actually not have the first clue how to do it.
My second hat is me as a music fan. I'm not really even a DJ but I do put out the occasional mp3 mix which seem to go down quite well :-)

Hi,
I'm Ian, I live in Berlin, and don't currently have any projects or businesses on the go..
I used to promote parties in Prague, until the money dried up there..
I'm currently deciding what to do here in Berlin (i'm an English teacher, but explaining the present perfect everyday is not my main aim in life ;)
Nice to meet you all, and if you're ever in Berlin, give me a shout... come and add to our daft blog :)
