Flaming Desks!

Like hot desking. But hotter.
This isn't strictly a news piece, but we're going to keep a close eye on this project. It's something we really like it because it's simple, light hearted, encourages informal networking and (most of all) it's free.
The simple concept is that if you have a spare desk in the corner of your office you list it on the site and anybody needing a bit of space for a day (or longer) can stop by and use it. Provided you agree, of course. It would obviously be incredibly useful if, say, you were in a strange town for a meeting and needed to do a few hours prep without wanting to spend t amongst the crowds of Starbucks etc.
And they're blogging their development, which is really nice idea.
